Dr. Kavdeep Kang grew up in Surrey, BC. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with her Bachelor of Science degree. She then went on to pursue her Optometry degree from Aston University in Birmingham, England and graduated with distinction. After practicing in England for a few years, she returned home and continued her training at the University of Waterloo to get certified to practice optometry in Canada.

Dr. Kang has acquired an array of clinical experience after practicing in two different countries. She trained at the Royal Derby Hospital in England and worked in private practice in a high ocular disease population, focusing on diabetes, cataract, glaucoma, and macular degeneration management. She has also worked at an ophthalmology clinic and in primary care here in the lower mainland.

Dr. Kang is now happy to be back and serving her hometown. She strives to bring quality eye care and education to her patients. She is fluent in Punjabi as well. In her spare time, Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with family and friends, and traveling after having visited around 15 countries so far.
